| | I was watching Coffee Confidential hosted by Moses Chan on TV few days ago and was reminded of Kopi Luwak, which I came to know about it few years back. Since college, coffee has been a part of me, mainly was to keep awake in class at that time, but as the years go by, I enjoy a cup of coffee every now and then. So what is Kopi Luwak? It can be found in Sulawesi, where an animal called the civet, eats the berries of the coffee, and the beans go through their system undigested. The enzyme in their stomach had added value to the coffee beans and becomes the most expensive coffee in the world. This civet excrement ranges from USD100 to USD 500 per pound.
According to Moses Chan, this coffee has a chocolatee taste...like dark chocolates. I'm curious and would love to try this one day. |
